Allergy Study 2006 ReportNote: This is not a protocol-perfect study and it is not aiming to be a scientifically exact report. Its main purpose it to inform and bring awareness of other options that we may not recognize as aids. Concepts Explored: In this study, there were several main factors explored. The most basic was to determine whether subtle energywork could be useful in aiding those with allergies. Implied within the basic methodology for this study was a second consideration : to see whether subtle energywork would be effective if those receiving it were not consciously aware they were receiving any aid. Lastly, in terms of the subtle energywork itself, a multi- dimensional perspective was very specifically employed to work on allergy patterns. Heretofore, allergies have not been a condition that either the alternative or allopathic medical communities have been able to heal - thus allergies can only be moderately alleviated through the steady use of antihistamines , medications , through limiting food choices and / or through formal meditation on the part of those who are comfortable with such. This study was one more effort within humanity to see if we might be able to specifically uncover useful items to heal the need for allergies. Please notice that I phrased that as "the need for allergies". In my experience this is a far more appropriate goal to work towards than merely "healing allergies" because I have seen in my work that we have valid reasons for everything we choose to place into our lives as experiences. When we seriously consider this, then we will likely find all sorts of answers about allergy patterns. This will take further studies, of a type that is not a blind study as this one was set up to be , to uncover such facets. We do not experience allergies solely because our immune system is working overtime and we are producing too many histamines. That is merely the physiological effect that is an eruption of longer standing stresses of other , less obvious, layers of our being. With this study I sought to take a look at these less obvious layers and hopefully isolate some layers of importance. Subtle energywork is a prime format for looking at these subtle layers as well as one of the only methods capable of directly interacting with and assimilating these layers . It has been a theory of mine that perhaps allergies persist without any chance of being healed because the action that creates them is tied to subtle layers we do not work with all that clearly or even - in the case of standard allopathic medicine - at all. Methodology: 10 volunteers were split into two groups of 5 via random sampling. The first group was the control group and as such received no remote work. The study group did receive remote work during the course of the study, each individually , and each on their own schedule as intuited best for them by the facilitator. None of the study participants knew whom were receiving remotes and whom were not. The study took place from May 22 through June 10. Beforehand, each participant turned in a baseline rating of 8 allergy symptoms. They were asked to give an average of how they 'd felt for the past 2 weeks leading up to the study. Beginning May 22, each volunteer then sent in a daily rating of the same symptoms using a scale from 0 , or no symptomology, to 10 which represented the most intensely felt symptomology. Results: Based on both the ratings over 3 weeks' time and the volunteers remarks during and after the study , 4 out of the 5 volunteers in the study group - those receiving remotes - had a noticeable to significantly noticeable shift in their allergy symtomology versus only 1 of 5 in the control group who felt a significant difference. This indicates that subtle energywork, even done without the conscious knowledge of the receiver, has merit to offer in terms of healing potential. The 5 Study Group Participants

[See full details for these tables at the end of this report. ] While the symptomology was significantly alleviated for some , for none of the study volunteers did this 3 week study do away with their need for allergy patterns entirely. Based on the 70% decrease in allergy intensity over their baseline score for 3 of the participants in the study group, however , there is some indication to suggest that given more time improved results might possibly have been forthcoming. [See tables showing the numbers at end of report.] The last week particularly was a time when 2 of the study group volunteers seemed to really begin releasing their allergy patterns quite radically. Additionally, the study brought up some group energy dynamics of interest that I feel we could gain much by studying further. For example, these are the exact words of the one control group participant out of the 5 who did show a significant change in allergy symptomology once the study began. She wrote this to me on May 23rd, explaining her experience on May 22 , the starting day of the study. " I had to take a nap yesterday afternoon, simply fell asleep. Then experienced an unusual sensation in my solar plexus and on the right side of my chest last evening, radiating out my arm and up into my throat area. it passed after about 30 minutes. This morning, my vision is more clear on that side and the discomfort in my right shoulder has eased from what it was before. Most of the above symptoms [the allergy rated symptoms] have eased as well. I am sensitive to energy and it is not unusual to feel sensations moving thru my body, however this was distinctly different from prior experience. This could, or could not have something to do with the study, but I thought it was worth mentioning. " It is indeed noteworthy to mention , especially since after this the participant had significantly decreased symptomology throughout the study. Again, this was the one volunteer in the control group who showed significantly lessor allergy symptomology than her norm over the 3 weeks of the study period. It is interesting that this occurred after a subtle energy type of effect. There was also an interesting note sent to me from one of the participants in the study group of a similar nature: "I automatically assumed that I wasn't chosen to be a participant mainly because of how I feel these last few days. However, that changed this morning when at 9:00 I had what I'll refer to as a "wave" of positive feelings. It's is difficult to put into words. I was in a quiet place, just relaxing, and then I felt better.... I feel like a healthier person today...no Clariten, no sneezing, no eye watering, etc.... I came downstairs and found your email regarding meditation. Ironic, eh?" As it turned out this was more than merely ironic in that I had just hit "send" at about 9 am on an email to the 10 volunteers - the very moment that this volunteer felt the wave of positive energy come in . I was sending a general email message to all 10 participants to concertedly ask them to tune in and see if they felt truly open to allowing the energywork. The letter didn't let on about who was getting energy remotes, it merely talked about being open overall and about meditating. I felt the need to create and send this letter based on my senses during the first 3 days of the study. There were for some of the study volunteers large blocks of some type of resistance I could not comprehend that was preventing them from partaking of the remote work in a solid way. I could both see and feel this happening. This in itself was to me an interesting phenomenon of this study - one that I have attempted to delve into more below in the section about Explicit versus Tacit agreement. I will perhaps create another study later on this year to elucidate further as I feel this is integral to energy medicine gaining a respectable foothold in the world - and that it is the reason energy medicine has not yet touched the minds and hearts of many more that could be aided tremendously. There is good reason to explore and find out what exactly this resistance is made of and how we can gently aid the lowering of it. Some of the volunteers were feeling the energywork in a reverse orientation type of way in the beginning , as with the participant above. Before sharing her positive wave feeling, the volunteer above first informed me that she'd had far worse symptomology since the study had started - which would make absolute sense with a fighting type of action happening towards the remotes. (Which, again, indicates that the remotes were in fact being felt rather than this being a placebo effect. ) By sending my email, I really was asking the volunteers to open up even more fully . It is interesting that this was the moment that the volunteer above felt that wave of positive feelings. After this, by and large, the volunteer had up and down days but no more fights of the type I was seeing previously. This particular volunteer also had an allergy induced headache during the third week of the study that she asked for help with and which I successfully aided for her through remote work. This is explained in a section below. What I noted with several of the study group participants was that there was not a clear cut relationship happening between my remotes and the allergy symptomology decreases. In other words, I was not seeing a direct cause and effect pattern. What I noted was that there seemed to be a timing for each person in how , when and where they accessed the remote work laid out for them . There was some degree of linear effect noted, however in general I found that this truly was a process happening, one that was sanctioned by each unique individual according to their learning processes. This would make much sense, given that each of the volunteers in the study group had a totally unique case history in strict terms of how long they've suffered allergies, in how acutely and in other disorders that were / are going on for them simultaneously. All of these factors no doubt play a role in outcome yet I did find it rather interesting that 4 out of 5 volunteers receiving remotes did feel some sort of benefit or even great benefit during the study period. Most of those in the control group , by contrast, expressed a thought to me that they'd already decided they were in the control group well before the end of the study based on what they didn't feel in terms of great allergy relief. Several of the volunteers in the control group began the study with a good bit of relief they were surprised about, but that didn't last except for in the case of one volunteer. Group dynamics and the general excitement could be a factor there. Other FactorsDuring the 3 week study period other factors were also analyzed for all 10 of the volunteers to see if they might correlate with allergy symptomology changes the volunteers experienced from day to day. This included the overall level of pollen intensity for their city (volunteers were scattered from coast to coast throughout the country), the barometric pressure, maximum and average humidity, the moon cycles and the magnetic and electric intensity as per my daily report. I also tentatively studied the vibrational signatures that came up in prominence and then turned off in prominence from day to day to see if any patterns emerged. In the end, I could not find any one variable that directly seemed to affect allergy symptomology for the volunteers on a reliable basis for either the control or study groups. Two of the volunteers went on vacations during this time period and there I did see significance. For one volunteer , who moved from an intensely humid area on vacation to one of very low humidity I noted a significant shift in allergy symptomology on the day of the move, but that represented a very large change in humidity and pressure level . I noticed this with another volunteer when she went to a different locale on vacation as well but in each of these two cases, the allergy symptomology acclimated to what was a more normal pattern for them within 1 or 2 days' time. There was some slight indication that how well or poorly a person was flowing with the day's energy overall did affect their allergy symptomology. This was not so for everyone, but was so for some of the volunteers. At any rate, I found slightly more of a connection with this piece of information than I did with any of the other items I checked. This factor is something that comes from my work in sensing subtle energy. It might be an indication that subtle energy attunement could well be the "variable X" that we are looking for to find answers for allergies. A specific study on that alone could be worthwhile. Personal Timing is a Key FactorVolunteer A (see below) was yet another case of where I saw personal timing and resistance play a role during the weeks of the study. He was the worst case in terms of his allergies and had been dealing with severe asthma plus allergies most of his life. His baseline rating was excruciatingly high - 69 out a possible 80 points. Even though remote work helped to bring significant decreases for him in roughly half of the 8 symptoms being rated by day 3 of the study , there were four symptoms - sinus and nose area specifics - that defied all of the facilitator's efforts to help shift them appreciably. There was a consciousness factor involved here that was almost palpable. When he finally and fully allowed in the energywork that had been set up for him and was laying just outside his field, all his symptoms then dramatically decreased. He is one of the most impressive of the participants in terms of where he was at the beginning of the study and where he is now. From his mother who was the informational liaison for the study and is a gifted clairvoyant, some ending remarks on her son and on this study. Two others within the study group showed a rather dramatic decrease in allergy symptomology - one showed this from the very first remote and one participant showed a steady decrease in symptomology that lead to almost no symptoms at all by the end of the 3 weeks. This volunteer commented after the study , "I went to the florist last week and had no reaction to flowers as in the past. Also, no PMS or menstrual cramping during this last period which is very unusual since I have endometriosis. This is huge for me.... " This, also , is extremely consistent with what I have found in my practice over the years that often there is with subtle energywork a lessening of PMS or menstruation cycle symptomology - and often this is a gratuitous effect of other items we are working on - just as it it here. This is yet another indication that the subtle energywork remotes in this study were facilitating the effects noticed rather than this being a placebo effect on the part of the volunteers' excitement. [See my PMS study for more on this. ] Taken all together, the overall results for the control versus non-control group present a case that subtle energywork does actually appear to be of real therapeutic aid - whether or not the person receiving consciously knows they are being aided. HeadachesDuring the course of the study, two of the volunteers asked for aid in relieving headaches. It was explained at the start of the study that anyone who was having a particularly bad day could email or call and a remote would be done for them, regardless of which group they were in. On 27 May, one of the volunteers from the control group phoned to ask if I could aid her with a migraine that she could not seem to relieve by herself. This was accomplished for her in a remote. Even though this was a phoned in request, the session was done remotely as the volunteer only left a message and we didn't actually communicate with one another until several days later. Feedback from this volunteer confirmed that the remote was able to dissipate the migraine - she was even able to attend a special function that evening. The second headache remote was done for a study group participant (Volunteer D) as mentioned already in an above paragraph. In both cases, the facilitator found that the energy flow needed to be soothed between the crown and 3rd eye chakras , the 3rd eye and above crown chakras, between 3rd eye and the two physical eyes and that the overall flow between head and feet needed to be gently reopened. In both cases based on feedback, the effect was immediate in ending the pain. This facilitator has noted with headaches that there is a diamond of flow which is a marker for headaches. This diamond is made up of the root, sacral, solar plexus and 3rd eye chakras. With these cases, as in many other headache remotes, this diamond of energy points is always found to be in stress as a team during a headache bout. When this team of 4 main chakras is realigned in a good way with one another again, the headache pain is allowed to release. This has been noted many times previous to this study. It doesn't necessarily get to the core issue of why the chakras became inflamed with one another (which could well have to do with the physical misalignment of jaw and neck for instance) , however, it does alleviate the pain in most cases. When we take pain medications we are also not getting to the core issue of the headache but with subtle energywork as a pain reliever there are no physical or other toxins to deal with - and typically it is also far more immediate in releasing pain over physical medications. This is one of energy medicine's real strengths and in this study, it was seen as aiding both volunteers. Interestingly this worked for Volunteer D even though the remotes for allergy didn't seem to be as effective for this participant overall. There are two possible reasons for this. The first is that headache facilitation is fairly clear cut and by working all the above mentioned factors, there is usually a great degree of comfort conferred whereas allergy patterns are more involved. The second reason may be that Volunteer D knew the remote was coming as we'd discussed it on the phone. There was an explicit, conscious understanding that a remote would be done . For this volunteer the conscious mind having an understanding of the procedure in general may have allowed a barrier of some sort that was unknowingly erected on her part to be lifted. While this study did show that energywork could work without the participants' consciousness involved, it also brought up the question of what role the receiver's conscious mind could play if allowed to work in tandem with the subtle energywork process. Tacit versus ExplicitThe blind nature of this study is not the norm in subtle energy facilitation. The norm is that the receiver explicitly asks for facilitation and then participates either in person, on the phone or in knowing what day and possibly what time a remote will be done with them. Subtle energywork facilitation is often much akin to counseling in that the active participation of the receiver is pivotal to total success. A question raised by the results of this study is if the 3 volunteers in the study group who experienced significant progress had been working with the facilitator more consciously, could the outcome have been even better? Do we , whether we wish to or not, have a boundary in place that can resist or somehow filter what is not known to our conscious mind outright? Do some people need to connect on more physical types of levels such as would be afforded by direct explicit consent / acknowledgement in order to allow subtle energywork fully? Can the primary learning styles for each person create a barrier to energy medicine or , conversely, allow them to better work with energy medicine? These are all pertinent questions this study has raised that could be systematically answered through further research. Even more interesting is the result of the one control group participant whose allergy symptomology decreased 70% over the baseline score after having a subtle energy experience. For the first several days , the facilitator and also some of the study members themselves could feel the group dynamic excitement and could also feel that the remotes being done were being offered to the control group vicariously. What came to mind very often those first several days for the facilitator was a prior experiment with garden seed germination because it felt like the same dynamics were taking place here to some degree. A small plant experiment was done several times where seeds from one packet were split into two groups and one half was charged energetically to see if those would sprout faster or be stronger overall than the non-charged seeds. What actually happened however on several occasions of testing this was that while while the seed groups were sitting fairly close to one another on the counter while prepping the soil medium to plant them , the energy from the charged seeds would run across the airspace and charge the other seeds naturally. The seeds could be fairly far apart and this phenomenon would still be observed. The higher vibrational energy of the charged seeds was moving naturally to the lower vibration of the others, bringing them all up into a new format. While the facilitator in this study did not consciously do any remotes for those in the control group, it has also been observed previously many times that subconsciously there is an entire world happening in terms of vibrational interactions and that can include healing space given if the person receiving is open to this and allowing. It could be that something similar happened here. Overall, given the feelings of the facilitator and others in the study, there was a group dynamic which affected participants positively in this study to some degree, whether they were receiving actual remotes or not. The energywork dynamics for allergies exploredGiven that the results indicate subtle energywork did relieve allergy symptomology to some degree , what factors may have been important in this? Many variables were explored during the 3 weeks of this study. Since there was not a clear cause and effect relationship noted for any of the study group volunteers with respect to variables , though, there is no solid understanding of which variables worked in aiding allergies to decrease. There is more reason to believe that it is a cumulative effect of all the factors over time than to isolate any particular items. Having said that however, there were some items that are noteworthy in that these came up time and again for each of the 5 study volunteers while remotes were underway. The 3rd eye chakra and the physical eyes were items that came up for all 5 of the study group volunteers receiving remotes. Especially for those afflicted with intense light sensitivity of the eyes , there would be found a locked energy dynamic happening quite intently between the 3rd eye and the physical eyes for them at those times. It was noted as well during remotes that if the 3rd dimensional level of the eyes was opened, that did not necessarily mean that the 5th dimensional level of the eyes was open. Often in the remotes it was noted that opening the 5th dimension level up would begin to naturally unlock the 3rd dimensional level - not only of the eyes but also for other facets worked upon. Facilitation was needed for the eyes at the 3D, 5D and for some the 7D level. To clarify, picture a triangle where the 3 points represent the two physical eyes and the 3rd eye. That specific visualization was used as the focus in association with the various dimensional levels. No matter that physicists are still trying to prove the 5D level exists physically , it has been noted time and again that a specific energy flow can successfully be differentiated for other dimensions beyond the 3rd and 4th dimensions when looked at expressly through subtle energy mechanics. Moreover it was noted during the remotes that each of these dimensional levels could have a different locked or open status for each volunteer. There was not an exact similarity between any of the 5 volunteers for any one variable that was worked with in this study, making proper comparisons difficult to impossible. The sinus was also approached in exactly the same type of multidimensional way as expressed above for the eyes. Over the weeks of the study, this was the one variable that was consistently focused upon in nearly every remote for each of the study group volunteers . Feet balance came up as being a valid facet for the allergy study as well. As a subtle energy marker, this is not necessarily one's actual balance on their feet, but is more a marker of how well grounded overall they are feeling. With this variable I found great discrepancies between 3D, 4D, 5D and 7D levels. For some of the volunteers , their ancestral energy pattern (what we may call DNA) was focused upon and burdens opened to the degree they were allowed to be opened. None of the 5 volunteers who were receving remotes progressed to a fully open flow with their ancestral pattern relating to allergies by the end of the 3 weeks. This is likely one factor underlying the need for allergies. Seen in such strict terms as the pure energy flow , it is not a matter of genetical inheritance but far more easily seen as merely a locked flow pattern that has never evolved from generation to generation and that needs to simply be opened. Perhaps all genetic predispositions will be seen as such someday. What these represent for each family and for each person will also need to be worked out. It was also found that the spirit level came up time and again during the remotes while following the flow dynamic stresses that were holding allergy patterns in place. There is a body-mind-spirit connection and this latter layer was the layer that came up as having significance in holding allergy patterns in place. This was consistent with all 5 of the study group volunteers. nbsp; While locks in the spirit level that came up were allowed to clear somewhat, none were successfully opened for any of the 5 study group participants within the time frame of the study. The Emotional body and the Empathic body both were also found to be significant factors. Facilitation for these revolved around gaining overall centering and balance. The actual flow dynamic interplay between one's empathic body and their spiritual body was found to be in quite consciously locked distress for all 5 of the participants receiving remotes. By the end of the 3 weeks, this had improved for each of the volunteers in varying degrees but had not opened up fully. While working to open nose congestion, the limbic system came into play as being pivotal - and this system is inherent in our emotional body so we began to see a direct flow between emotions and nasal challenges that manifest as allergies or breathing challenges that manifest as asthma. Equally interesting in this study was to note that the major factor usually considered in allergies - the immune system - was not felt to be the underlying factor in allergy patterns. It felt as though the spiritual energy distress was creating the blueprint for the immune system to act as it does in an allergy or asthma situation. So this means that the immune system may be the last piece of the puzzle in terms of allergies, not the first as is usually thought. Breaking Down the ScoresThe following tables were created by adding together each set of items to obtain a daily point total and then averaging 6 to 7 of these daily scores to come out with a weekly figure. This gives us an easier ability to see a trend instead of focusing on up or down days which all of the volunteers experienced for reasons that ran the gamut from having a jet ski accident that injured their nose to smelling a cleaning product to eating the wrong food to being in the same room with a guinea pig (twice during this study alone making for two very bad allergy days!) or going to the zoo. In other words, just daily life. There were 8 items each participant was asked to rate with room offered for other symptoms not covered. As you can see below, many of the volunteers added one or even two more items to rank each day. Imagine , then, that if a person rated 10 items and the total for their day was only 9, that this means they had very low or no intensity for many of the items...in other words, an excellent day in terms of allergies. In fact, this was exactly the case for one of the volunteers in study group towards the latter part of week 3 where she ranked 10 items and listed nine of them as "1" and the last as "0". Contrast her total day score of 9 for each of the last several days of the study to this volunteers' baseline score total of 56. For some of the volunteers all days were not available so the information provided was averaged according to the appropriate week and number of days that was on hand for that week. * Volunteer D felt a wave of positive energy on May 25th that gave her a day score of only 14 for that day. This volunteer also had extra remote work during week 3 to relieve a trying headache on June 5 that was allergy related. This did release the pain for her greatly based on her feedback but the next day, June 6, she suffered a migraine without asking for aid (there is a history of migraine for this volunteer). On these days the scores were quite high for her. In addition, this volunteer is the only one of the 10 volunteers who is new to allergies, having onset of allergy symptomology for the first time ever this year along with simultaneous challenges of a hormonal nature occurring. ** Volunteer F expressed to me during and after the study that she experiences very irregular types of weeks such that some are very good and some are very challenging. Thus, the baseline score for this participant is really not a good indicator. There is no set block of weeks that are a good indicator for this particular volunteer. The day before the study began on May 21, she had a score of 45 while experiencing one of the most debilitating headaches she said she'd ever had. This data was not included in the study since it took place the day before we began to collect ratings. The prior two weeks , which gave us the baseline, were very mild for her. *** Volunteer J felt a subtle type of experience on May 22nd, the afternoon we began the study.
