Spirit the Cat - A Daily Log for part of 2006

Spirit

This is an active log that matches up noticed behavior by Leisa, Spirit's caretaker, with a basic subtle energy flow reading from a remote viewing by Chris on a day by day basis (weekends and personal/ family holidays excluded) . As far as we know, this is the first log of its kind , allowing Spirit to speak to we in the human kingdom in a totally new way.

If you have a cat or an interest in animal behavior, Spirit's log may provide a basis for understanding your own cat behavior a bit better - or even dogs and other animals to perhaps a lessor degree. The number codes used in this log were designed by Chris and Leisa to reflect the variables they each felt were going to be most useful as very simple indicators. The process decided upon was that Chris would email Leisa in the early morning with a code for that morning and then Leisa would input her code for Spirit anywhere from morning to early evening on that day. On some days you will notice two codes from Leisa to reflect radical changes in demeanor during that day. For the most part, this log is merely an inactive journaling of Spirit. The exception was October 11th when a very small amount of remote work was done by Chris for Spirit to aid with a unique type of stress flow dynamic noted.

This log was initially going to be a 3 week long endevor but we will likely continue this into November so you may want to check back to see what has been happening with Spirit!

Leisa and I both thank Spirit for so graciously taking part in this and for allowing us such a wonderful inner glimpse

Chris' Code Key

Code 1 ....he has none of the headache/distress flow dynamics - everything looks open.
Code 2 ....he has some of the locks I usually see that indicate headaches/some discomfort
Code 3 ...he shows ALL of the flow dynamics that usually mean a headache so I think he's likely to be suffering some sort of acute discomfort.
Code 4 ....this code is a specific to indicate that I am seeing an active locked dynamic between between eyes and 3rd eye. I may indicate code 4 in addition to code 2, for instance, to give you a heads up on this particular facet.

Leisa's Code Key

Code 1...full of vim and vigor. wanting to be outside & loving towards the other pets. In my lap a lot.
Code 2....a bit grouchy looking. Insolent towards the other pets...like a grumpy old man shaking his head at children. 'Begs' to go out at night, though he knows he's not allowed.
Code 3....Lying around all day. Indifferent towards the other pets unless they get too close & then he lets them know.
Code 4...Hiding, in a closet or dark place. Shuns all contact.
Code 5...when he's been VERY ill...sleeping almost on top of my head. Completely lethargic and withdrawn during the day.

Basically , 1 being ideal and 5 very ill.

5 October: Chris - code 2 ...... Leisa - Code 2.

6 Oct. : Chris - 1 ...... Leisa - 1 1/2

9 Oct. : Chris - 2 plus 4 ..... Leisa - 2

10 Oct: Chris - 2 plus 4 ...... Leisa - 2 and comment...." I'm beginning to see a connection between his 'restlessness...pacing, wanting out late or early, etc..and your Code 4"

11 Oct.: Chris - 2 plus lower 3 main chakras stressed as a team this day...... Leisa - this morning he was a code 3 and now I'd put him at 1 1/2.
[Chris did a small amount of remote energywork simply to reopen the lower 3 chakras for Spirit in the latter AM and this was expressed to Leisa beforehand so she could watch to see if there were any changes in Spirit's demeanor] Leisa continues..."But the interesting part.... Overnight & this morning I had a strange tightness, soreness in my lower back (lower 3 chakras). Thought it was from gardening though usually it is my mid-upper back that feels it and didn't even think about it when reading your assessment of Spirit this morning. We quit early today and when I sat down to rest I first noticed my feet buzzing and tingly, and then I noticed that the back pain was completely gone! Even after more strenuous work."

Sidenote thoughts on 11 Oct. - What Leisa tells us about their day is interesting in that not only did Spirit feel his lower 3 chakras as locked in the morning, but also so did Spirit's caretaker. When Spirit responded to the remote work, did this also in some way aid Leisa as well? We can only speculate on how this works or what was happening but the main noteworthy point here is the affiliation between animal and human in a very tangible way. On days of lower backache or headache or whatever may be happening to us, might we want to begin thinking about whether our animal companion may be feeling something to this effect as well? And if so, are we both responding to the day's energy landscape in the same less than open way or is one of us resonating with the other's distress? (And whom may be doing what in this equation?)

12 Oct. : Chris - code 1......Leisa - code 1 here, too. He's king of the cat herd today.

13 Oct. : Chris - 2 plus 4.......Leisa - 1 plus very, very restless today.

16 Oct. : Chris - bet 2 and 3 (includes 4) ......Leisa, Today he is a Code 2 though last night he was extremely restless & making sounds I'd never heard before. Like he was really trying to talk. I am beginning to see a connection between his restlessness (your Code 4) and eq's on the New Madrid. [minor earthquake movement on the New Madrid fault line in US] " We've had lots of little shakers lately..."

17 Oct. : Chris - 2 ......Leisa - 1 1/2

18 Oct. : Chris - 2......Leisa - A 'solid' 2 today. fwiw, yesterday I saw him, for the first time ever, rolling around in the SAND on our beach. [this was a reference to the daily report mention which was made as to the great prominence of quartz and specifically sand ....sand is primarily made of quartz].

19 Oct. : Chris - 1....Leisa - 1

20 Oct. : Chris - 1 .....Leisa - 1

30 Oct. : Chris - 2 ......Leisa - 1

31 Oct. : Chris - 1.....Leisa - 1

8 Nov : Chris - 2......Leisa - today he is a 2 1/2. lol He was way 'off' over the weekend & a bit into Monday. He has also developed an allergic-type rash. This has been off and on for him forever and usually clears up on it's 'own' (I mean without conventional treatment).

9 Nov : Chris - 1......Leisa - he's a 1 here, too
